As a part of the EU Funds Open Door Day organized by the Croatian Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds, the Public Institution RERA S.D for Coordination and Development of Split Dalmatia County (Croatia) held an Info Day of Interreg Euro-MED project TOURISMO for local stakeholders on October 9th, 2024.

The event took place at the Visitor Center “Hidden Dalmatia”, a multimedia and educational center that interprets the natural heritage of Split-Dalmatia County in a modern way. This Info Day aimed to provide local stakeholders with information about project TOURISMO in general, about project partners and in particular about RERA’s pilot case – Blue Cave on Biševo island. The Prefect of Split-Dalmatia Mr Boban opened the event, after which the director of PI RERA greeted the attendees, and then the project manager presented the project.

The meeting was attended by representatives of local stakeholders including the Administrative Department for Maritime Affairs and Tourism of Split-Dalmatia County, the Public Institution for the Management of Protected Areas in the County of Split and Dalmatia – “Sea and Karst”, Tourist Board Dugopolje, Municipality of Dugopolje, Development Agency of Municipality of Dugopolje Odraz, few private companies and visitors of the center and the general public as well.
