DESCRIPTION
TOURISMO will contribute to the management of tourism flows in Mediterranean destinations by promoting innovation and the uptake of advanced technologies.
Tourism Innovative and Sustainable Management of flows – TOURISMO Project under the Sustainable Tourism Mission of the Interreg Euro-MED Programme aims at addressing overtourism challenges by using innovative technologies that offer new solutions and novel services to monitor and manage tourist flows. Better flows handling will be implemented through the development of a monitoring and decision-making support management structure and testing in 8 MED pilot sites.

Interreg Euro-MED is a European Territorial Cooperation Programme that aims to make the Mediterranean region smarter and greener and improve the governance between its stakeholders. The Interreg Euro-MED Programme supports cooperation providing funds for projects to make the Mediterranean smarter and greener and to improve the governance in the region. The Programme brings together partners from 69 regions of 14 countries from the Northern shore of the Mediterranean with a common objective: a climate neutral and resilient society for the benefit of its citizens.
